CEC’s Staff Final Report from the May 15, 2008, Workshop which dealt with, among other matters, the issue of amending the multi-speed swimming pool motor. The regulation today applies only to new pool construction. REGION 3 DESIGN AWARD WINNING ENTRIES

The APSP North Texas Chapter, under the leadership of Tom Odeski and Jana Auringer, managed the region’s design awards entry process and produced the gala awards celebration honoring the region’s best designs for pools, spas and hot tubs. The Best of Show award was presented to Da Vida Pools LLC. Overall, there were 22 gold award recipients, 21 silver award recipients, 19 bronze award recipients and 20 merit award recipients. VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR

APSP Region 3 recently hosted its recognition awards for the Volunteer of the Year award demonstrating exemplary leadership, reliability, consistency, willingness, and spirit. This year, the Volunteer of the Year was awarded to Tom Odeski, owner of Pool Cover Resource in Dallas, Texas, and an APSP member since 1982. (MORE)

APSP AUSTIN CHAPTER INSTALLS INTERIM
BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Austin area builders and service companies met Thursday, March 20th and installed an interim board of directors, while the chapter makes preparations to fully reactivate.
The interim board:
